The new UNSW Civil and Architecture building provides a sense of support for student bonding. Every facility is secluded to allow focus and concentration for the occupants within, however, once they leave their "individual space" they are harmonized with the open Library spread across the main building walkway. This idea is inspired from the UNSW Main walkway which allows students to socialize, bond and bringing students from all faculties together.

EXP 2: Lumion Final Model

Concept 1: "Novel" Architecture with the adoption of computational form advances cultures to evolve: The huge vertical column which snakes around the rectangular block is a unique design inspired by engineering mega structures. Additionally, the varying square/rectangular shapes is a representation of computational forms.

Concept 2: Architecture is built to develope landscape and influence the lives of people: Situated right next to the highway, the peculiar shape attracts the sights of many drivers. The design hopes to achieve the purpose of drivings looking forward to arrive at this special structure during their daily lives. The monument was fit underneath a boulder to help support it's structure.

On a side note: The two structures were separated to accommodate the site. It was also to designed horizontally so drivers have longer time to marvel at the grand monuments.
